We offer the usual refreshments expected of a café in a park - and more! We are delighted to use local and organic supplies from Bath, rural Somerset and neighbouring counties Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Cold drinks include organic pure fruit juices, fruit presses, water, cans and cartons, iced teas and coffees.
Freshly ground coffee is expertly made into delicious cups of cappuccino, latte, espresso, mocha etc or plainly filtered by our resident barista.
Many teas are available - from our selected blend of afternoon tea to more specialist types and herbal or fruit infusions.
Milk for tea and coffee is always semi-skimmed and soya milk is available too.
Cakes, muffins, cookies and other such sweet and indulgent home or locally made treats are always available and we try to have at least one sweet item available classed ‘gluten free’.
Our world famous Cream Teas are very popular indeed and we bake a fresh batch of scones each day…To sit down on a lovely sunny day, admiring the fantastic view with a plate of two scones, west country clotted cream and strawberry jam with a pot of afternoon tea to consume, is certainly one of life’s good things to do!
Ice cream and Ice Lollies are supplied from two local and award winning producers.
We make an interesting and varied selection of vegetarian filled sandwiches, rolls and bagels each day - no meat to be seen in our Café, although we do use fish such as tuna or smoked salmon from time to time. The local ‘Wife of Bath Cheese’ is a popular choice for sandwiches and is also served with local Bath Brie or Kelston Park soft cheese on a Ploughman’s or Cheese and Bath Oliver Biscuit platter.
